What is JSON-LD structured data?

JSON-LD (JavaScript Object Notation for Linked Data) is the format Google recommends for adding structured data to a web page. It describes the entities on a page — your organisation, products, articles, reviews, FAQs — and how they relate, using the shared vocabulary at schema.org. Search engines read it to power rich results, and AI search systems use it to understand and cite your content.

Markup Lab helps you build and verify that markup: visualise the entity graph to see how everything connects, validate it against schema.org and Google’s rich-result rules, and extract the signals a live page already exposes so you know exactly what to mark up next.
