Roles & access at a glance
Access in Web Lifter Cloud is role-based and scoped to each organisation. Your data is strictly isolated per organisation — one organisation can never see another''s data.
The roles
- Owner — full control of the organisation: connections, members, billing, privacy and all features. The person who creates the organisation is its first owner.
- Member — can use the analytical surfaces (audits, recommendations, experiments, reports, journal) but does not see the owner-only Settings group (Data Sources, Members, Billing, Privacy).
- Web Lifter admin — Web Lifter platform staff who can assist with your account. Admin tooling is used to help set up and run audits.
What this means day to day
If you need to connect a new data source, invite a teammate, or change billing, you need the owner role. Most analyst work — reviewing audits, working the recommendation backlog, running experiments and writing reports — is available to members.
