Data sources overview
The data sources Web Lifter Cloud can connect to, why each one matters, and where to manage them.
Data sources overview
Web Lifter Cloud is only as good as the data it can see. Connections are managed by owners under Settings → Data Sources. The more you connect, the more grounded and complete your audits and recommendations become.
The connections
- Google Ads (required) — the read-only foundation. Powers every audit, diagnosis and recommendation. See Connect Google Ads.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — adds on-site behaviour and helps reconcile conversion measurement. See Connect GA4.
- Merchant Center — for Shopping and Performance Max retailers; brings in product feed and merchant configuration. See Connect Merchant Center.
- CRM — adds lead quality and offline outcomes so advice reflects real revenue, not just form-fills. See Connect your CRM.
- Ecommerce — order and revenue data for true ROAS and margin-aware decisions. See Connect ecommerce.
How connections work
Each connection authorises Web Lifter Cloud to read your data. Tokens are stored in an encrypted vault and scoped to your organisation. After connecting, you map and validate the incoming data (see Data mapping & quality) and the platform keeps it fresh on a sync schedule (see Sync, freshness & reconnecting).
Getting started
Connect Google Ads first — it unlocks audits immediately. Add GA4, Merchant Center, CRM and ecommerce as they become available to deepen the analysis.
