Sync, freshness & reconnecting
How Web Lifter Cloud keeps your data fresh, what the freshness label means, and how to fix a broken connection.
Sync, freshness & reconnecting
Web Lifter Cloud keeps a synced copy of your connected data so the console is fast and audits are reproducible.
Freshness
The sidebar shows a freshness label for the last successful Google Ads sync, along with the connected account''s customer ID. Use it to confirm you are looking at current data before acting on a recommendation.
How syncing works
- The first sync is a full sync — it pulls the complete picture and can take longer.
- Later syncs are incremental and run on a schedule.
- Some surfaces, like full change history, refresh during a complete sync rather than every incremental run.
Reconnecting
If Google or another provider revokes the authorisation, or a token expires, you may see a "needs reconnect" prompt. Reconnect from Settings → Data Sources. A "needs reconnect" signal is not always a dead account — if data still looks current, check the underlying error before assuming the grant is gone.
Troubleshooting
If a sync seems stuck or stale, see Sync & reconnect issues in Troubleshooting.
