What an audit is
Understand the AdLift audit: a grounded, AI-generated review of your Google Ads account that produces a verdict, findings, recommendations and a plan.
What an audit is
An audit is the heart of AdLift. It is a structured, AI-generated review of your connected Google Ads account that produces four things: a verdict, a set of findings, a ranked list of recommendations, and a plan to act on them.
How an audit is built
An audit is grounded, not generic. Before forming an opinion it gathers:
- Deterministic signals — a fixed set of checks computed directly from your synced data (the facts).
- Your goals and KPI targets — so performance is judged against what you care about.
- Prior context — earlier audits, your feedback and any disputes to respect.
It then analyses several dimensions — conversion tracking, keyword quality, budgets and bidding, campaign and ad-group structure, creative, Performance Max/Shopping, geo and dayparting, audiences and landing pages — and assembles the result.
What you get
- A headline verdict with an overall health read. See Reading the verdict.
- Prioritised findings, each justified and cited. See Findings & severity.
- Recommendations linked to the findings, ranked for action. See Recommendations.
Where audits live
Run and review audits under Diagnose → Audits. Each audit is saved, so you can compare over time and the next audit can build on the last.
