Roles explained
Web Lifter Cloud uses role-based access, scoped strictly to each organisation. This page details what each role can do.
Owner
The owner has full control of the organisation:
- Manage connections (Settings → Data Sources).
- Invite and manage members.
- Manage billing and the subscription.
- Control privacy and consent settings.
- Use every analytical surface.
The person who creates the organisation is its first owner; there can be more than one.
Member
A member can use the analytical product — audits, recommendations, experiments, reports, the journal and insights — but does not see the owner-only Settings group (Data Sources, Members, Billing, Privacy).
Web Lifter admin
Web Lifter admins are platform staff who can assist with setup and running audits. This is how Web Lifter helps you get value from the platform.
Isolation
Whatever the role, access is confined to the organisation. One organisation can never see another''s data.
