Change history
Insights → Changelog records what changed in your Google Ads account and when, so you can connect a shift in performance to the action that caused it.
What it shows
- Changes over time — edits to campaigns, budgets, bids, status and more, with the entity that changed named.
- Context for performance — a sudden drop or spike often has a change behind it; the changelog helps you find it.
How to use it
When a metric moves, check the changelog around that date. Tying outcomes to changes is also how the platform follows up on whether a previously recommended fix was actually made.
Refresh behaviour
Full change history refreshes during a complete sync rather than on every incremental run, so very recent changes may appear after the next full sync. See Sync, freshness & reconnecting.
